Project Description

Girls For Rent

Since 1980 Mr O’Finn has re-purposed, re-contextualized, effected, and weaved appropriated media samples into “the dreams a television Might have”.  The work represents television both as a medium, message, and as a device of conscious and subconscious cultural significance. His work has screened on both coasts, including The Hirshhorn Museum of Art in Washington DC., as well as around the world; including The National Museum of Art in Poland, The Busan Film Festival in Korea, a Traveling Art project throughout Portugal, as well as a solo exhibition in Berlin Germany.
